Dear Fellow Boulderites—
Thank you! I am humbled and thrilled to have been chosen to help represent my community—what a great privilege. And what a wonderful community we have!
It will be a great honor to serve with this new City Council, including newly elected Tim Plass and re-elected incumbents Lisa Morzel, George Karakehian, and Ken Wilson. I am also especially pleased that 2B and 2C passed, opening the door to further exploring a more sustainable energy future. I look forward to working with all of you to bring our city together in pursuing our collective energy and greenhouse gas reduction goals.
I spent a lot of time the past three weeks walking neighborhoods across the city with fellow candidate Tim Plass knocking on doors and talking with voters. It was a great way to hear what citizens were thinking and to get to know our great city better block by block. I look forward to listening a lot more in the days ahead and to problem-solving with people from all walks and interests to the issues and challenges we face as a city.
